Who is Meg Ferguson on ‘Project Runway’? Designer’s first job was with Walt Disney

We couldn’t be happier to announce the much-anticipated Season 19 of Project Runway. Sixteen new talents will showcase their work in the award-winning fashion designseries. This season’s mentors are Nina Garcia, Christian Siriano and Brandon Maxwell. Elaine Welteroth is also involved.

Project Runway’s official synopsis reads:

“Aspiring fashion designers compete for a chance to break into the industry in this reality competition. Each week, a designer is eliminated from the competition after exhibiting their work in front of a judges’ panel.”

The panel of contestants will be serving jaw-dropping designs this year, too. Meg Ferguson, a graduate from FIT, is one the Project Runway designers. Ferguson started her career at Walt Disney World.

Ferguson is the founder of The Atelier Co., a company that combines high-quality fabrics and polished designs. She is a strong advocate for gender fluidity, body positivity, and celebrating and empowering women, something that not many designers encourage.

Bravo’s Emmy-winning series Project Runway has been renewed for its 19th season. The showThe show will feature designers who will accept challenges to win sponsorships of $250,000 and create a collection that will be displayed at New York Fashion Week.

On Project Runway season 19, Meg will be competing with other designers — Aaron Michael, Prajjé Oscar Jean-Baptiste, Sabrina Spanta, Shantall Lacayo, Caycee Black, Chasity Sereal, Octavio Aguilar, Coral Castillo, Kristina Kharlashkina, Bones Jones, Katie Kortman, Kenneth Barlis, Anna Yinan Zhou, Zayden Skipper, and Darren Apolonio.

Project Runway Season 19 will be broadcast on Bravo at 9.00 pm Eastern Time (ET).
