Meg Ferguson, 35, from Tulsa in Oklahoma, is a strong advocate for body positivity. She will show the world during her stint on Bravo’s “Project Runway.”
Meg grew-up in a world of people. fashionBoth her grandmothers were involved in it. While her grandma Betty was a seamstress who taught her how to sew, and her grandma Nona had a children’s clothing store. She was taught to embroider and quilt from an early age. fashion. After she has earned her fashion designMeg graduated from Metropolitan Community College. She was then offered her first job at Walt Disney World’s Creative Costuming. She went on to FIT to get a degree. fashionAs a merchandising manager, I traveled the world creating unique costumes for many companies.
Meg is now the owner of The Atelier Co., which combines high-quality materials and sophisticated, classically-informed designs. She is passionate about gender fluidity, and designing for everyone. This empowers bodies that most designers are not encouraged to. She explains the brand’s philosophy on its website. “We do what we do because we live our lives in our clothing.
