Whew! Rich The Kid appears to be in serious trouble with Fashion Nova. The rapper has been ordered by Fashion Nova to pay $130k for a breach.
October will see the fashion Brand sued Rich The Kid for breaching a contract that he signed back 2018. The contract terms state Rich The Kid as a brand ambassador, which includes him making social media post promoting Fashion Nova’s products. Rich must mention Fashion Nova in one of his songs, according to the contract.
Needless to say, Rich didn’t do any of those things in a timely manner even though he received an advanced check for $100k. Fashion Nova filed a suit against Rich after he failed to reach him.
Fashion Nova sued Rich for $3.5 Million. A California court ordered Rich pay $132,637.75. The lump-sum includes $100,000 of damages and the remainder from court fees & interests.
Rich appears to have responded to the lawsuit via Instagram, stating: “Sh*t is crazy motherf*ckers tryna sue a n*gga left and right. It’s time for us to promote ownership, not that slave sh*t.”
