Rae Dior Couture owner Lexus “Luckii”Wells was inspired toGive back toShe remembers how much she has made an impact on the community schoolWhen she was growing up, her family relied on supply donations.
“I remember as a young girl coming up throughout my entire grade school life how so many people would deliver school supplies to my mother’s house for my five siblings and I due to my mom not being able to afford for us to have supplies every year. We would even get assistance with school uniforms, shoes and hairstyles/haircuts,” Wells said.
She said that the Back to School Fashion Show& Pop-upShop is a way to make money to show appreciation for the community members who have supported her daughter’s business. Wells has been steadily growing over the past year. Rae Dior CoutureOnline – fashion boutique dedicated toHer infant daughter Rae’Lynn DiorJackson.
“I also am a huge supporter of my daughter’s supporters with her business, so I figured this would be the perfect time to show my appreciation to all the parents who have blessed my daughter by supporting her business in any kind of way, whether it was from a purchase, a share on Facebook or even something so small as referring her business to a friend. My daughter is blessed, not necessarily by the dollar amount but the genuine love and support that she receives from so many people around the world. Now it’s our turn to pay those blessings forward,” Wells said. “I also want to say thank you to everyone who has donated to make this event possible. It takes a village, and the village was the only way this event could have been possible.”
