FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A man was detained after bringing a replica firearm to Fashion Fair Mall on Saturday, according to the Fresno Police Department.
After being notified by Fashion Fair security personnel, officers responded to the call at noon. mallA gun was carried.
Police claim security informed them that two subjects were seen in the area. mallOne of them pulled out their gun from their backpack.
According to authorities, a Fashion Fair officer on duty waited for other officers before he detained the man in the parking garage.
According to police, the man owned an airsoft gun that looked like a Glock.
Officers investigating the incident say they found Xanax and fentanyl in the subject’s vehicle.
Police claim that the drugs found were for sale.
Fresno Police Department reports that detectives are on-scene investigating the incident.
