AMFI students demanded Reynders’ resignation as supported by ASVA of Amsterdam. RTL Nieuws heard from students that the atmosphere at the fashionIt was toxic school. They claimed that lecturers and teachers had made them physically and mentally sick and publicly shamed them during evaluations and presentations. Their complaints were ignored.
A study by research agency Bezemer & Schubad concluded that AMFI is not a safe environment for students and employees.
