Samsung’s Galaxy Note 5 is the top-selling smartphone line this year. The series has been a hit since its debut in February. The lineup includes three top-tier Android phones. Each phone has its own requirements when it comes to selecting the right case for maximum protection. Samsung cases are not included with the phones. You’ll need to purchase one. You can save a lot of money by purchasing a high-quality case for your expensive phone.
Consider whether you require additional features or not. A kickstand might be a good option for the S22 Ultra, which is useful because the phone is heavy. For smaller phones, a slim case might be the best. This screen is a 6.6-inch in size, which we refer to as the middle child of the S22 lineup. (6.1 inches), which is the most “compact”One of the three. Perhaps a case with card slots, or rugged protection, might be the best choice for your phone. A chase can help extend your battery’s life.
Everyone has their opinion on the best Samsung case and the best case for phones overall. It will ultimately come down to you and your needs. My picks come in a variety styles, from transparent to opaque, from slimmer models, to more rugged armor cases, to folio wallet covers.
Please note that these Galaxy S22 series case recommendations are based on my experience with nearly identical models of Galaxy smartphones.. Below are the best Samsung cases. It is important to ensure that the case you choose matches the model of your S22. Tempered glass provides extra protection. Make sure the size of the case matches the model of your S22 Ultra, Plus, or Standard.
This best Samsung case roundup is updated regularly with new picks as new candidates arrive.
Leading case maker Speck has a range of protective options for the Galaxy S22.
All models now have excellent drop protection (13-16 feet depending on model) and Speck Microban antimicrobial coating. The cases start at $25 and come in many color options. Speck sometimes offers discounts to first-time customers on its website.
British case-maker Gear4, now owned in part by Zagg makes cases that are comparable to OtterBox and Speck. All cases are lined with D3O shock-absorbing material from the company and have beveled edges to protect your smartphone. From left to right, the Copenhagen (13-foot Drop Protection), Denali (16 foot Drop Protection), Milan (13 feet Drop Protection) and Crystal Palace (13/foot Drop Protection). Although all of them use recycled plastic in their constructions, the Copenhagen, made from 52% plant based material, is technically most eco-friendly.
Prices range from $30 to $50 on the top-end Denali. I prefer the Gear4 case the best.
Spigen’s Ultra Hybrid Clear Case is a great value at $15 to $18, depending upon the version. The Ultra Hybrid S (second left in photo) has an integrated kickstand. The Neo HybridOn the far right is a basic case. Cryo ArmorThe $22 triple layer is second from right “gaming”Case that’s made to “absorb and dissipate heat from your phone during hours of gameplay.”
These Samsung phone cases do not have a drop rating. However, most Spigen cases, with the exception of the slimmest, offer reasonable protection. You can get an Armor model if you are looking for a rugged case that provides decent protection.
You will notice that many of these clear cases, even the cheaper ones, have a tendency to turn yellow over time. This makes them less translucent. However, they are cheap enough that you will probably not mind spending a little extra to get a new one if it happens.
Although the Defender series case is super-protective and available for all Galaxy S22 models by the company, most people prefer something lighter. Symmetry series cases are slim and have beveled edges which I like. They’re both stylish and protective. Despite this, I prefer the more protective Commuter Series. It has a better grip on the sides and back, as well raised edges that protect your screen. The raised bezel acts like a screen protector to keep your screen free from scratches and the camera module also gets the same treatment.
Rokform has been making tough smartphone cases since years. Their key feature, aside from their durability is their ability to be used with different mounts (including bike and motorcycle mounts) that are separately sold.
Rokform’s cases come with removable magnets. They can also be used for wireless charging, provided you remove the center magnet. “With the lower magnet still intact, you can still wireless-charge while utilizing magnetic mounting and all of our mounts,”Rokform:
The Samsung leather case is available in three colors: black, burgundy, and light grey. It has a soft-to-the touch feel and decent edge protection, all in a slim package. The Samsung-branded leather case does not have a kickstand. But, if you are looking for a simple, elegantly-designed case, this Samsung-branded one is the right choice. It offers decent protection for your camera lenses. I personally love the burgundy colour.
The Limitless 3.0 case ($60), made by Mous, a UK-based company, is available for the Galaxy S22. The case comes in several different styles and is lined with AiroShock material. This material, according to the company, provides excellent protection in a slim design. design. They are durable and come with a lifetime warranty.
Mous’ Limitless 3x cases are compatible with the company’s Limitless 3x accessories. This includes a wallet that attaches magnetically to the back of your phone case, and a few mounts for your car.
It is also worth noting the Limitless 3.0 cases have a SIM-card storage slots on the inside for international travelers who are in the habit of SIM swapping. Mous also has a selection of styles for sale.
Cyrill, a sub-brand under Spigen, sells cases for less than $20. Cyrill does not have as many options for the Galaxy S22 than it does the iPhone 13. However, it does offer protective clear cases with floral designs (pictured above) as well as the Brick Matte Case (pictured in photo), which has soft-to-the touch finish. It also has a raised frame at the back to provide extra protection for your camera lenses. The corners of the case are also raised with a lip.
A folio case with slots for credit cards can provide additional protection for phones with large screens. The Strada folio case from Otterbox has a magnetic clasp and is well-designed. It can’t be converted into a kickstand to watch videos, which is its only problem. For now, it’s only available as a black version.
Otterbox also offers the Strada Via Folio, but I prefer this one.
I find an integrated kickstand to be a good feature on the Galaxy S22’s larger models. The ESR Kickstand Case is around $20, which is pretty reasonable considering the price. It should drop to about $15 with time.
Raptic’s Shield case is available in a few colors. It is less expensive than OtterBox premium cases and is a good value overall. It offers 10-foot drop protection and an antimicrobial treatment.
The LifeProof Wake Case is made of recycled ocean plastic. Although it’s well-designed, I wouldn’t consider it to be super tough. It isn’t enclosed at its bottom and offers 6-foot drop protection. Some cases on this list have higher drops protection ratings.
The Samsung Clear Standing Cover isn’t fancy, but it’s a clear protective case with an integrated kickstand. The kickstand is strong enough to hold your phone vertically or horizontally. Unfortunately, it’s out of stock at the moment but will hopefully ship soon.
