Great fashion can be fun and artistic, but sometimes it’s simply full of swag. This is something Black male celebrities across the globe paid attention to last week as they served casual drips that left us snapping our fingers at their fashion excellence.
American Basketball player, Chris Paul has his game day style on lock. The athlete brought an air of eclecticism to the Brooklyn Nets vs. Pelicans game. His combination of Strakers closet sweatshirt and his pair of brown John Geiger cargo pants was an alluring move to serve comfortable yet stylish and sporty look. He finished the look off with a pair of Air Jordan 4 sneakers and accessorized with a pair of Illesteva sunglasses.
Elsewhere, in Nigeria, floral appliqués and neutral colors added some well needed summer vibe amidst the unexpected harmattan that hit Nigeria last week. Musician and entrepreneur, Davido looked swanky in a monotone ensemble. The 30BG label owner wore a white trench coat with black floral appliqués over a white turtleneck sweater which he matched with a pair of white pants. For shoes, he went with a pair of white Chelsea boots.
Down in South Africa, creative director, Oscar Mbo found away to stand out in black. The artists double denim look was a playful fashion moment that came courtesy of his work at Diesel SA. The pop art color splash on the denim jacket and pants gave the look it’s needed elevation. The pair of black boots gave the ensemble a blissful finish.
Last week, Black male celebrities and influencers in various continents served appealing casual style, and we have to say, we sure are inspired by them.
