Her way of being, of dressing, her life as a rock star at two hundred per hour, her discretion, her exemplary career, her charm sometimes as a woman-child, sometimes as a femme fatale make us fantasize. And for a good cause: the myth Kate Moss has always gone beyond the imagination of all top models in the history of fashion. The incredible and unrivaled style, the teenage charm, a touch of innocence and her casual attitude have built a legend and made Kate Moss one of the greatest fashion icons. This season she was the face of “In my Choos”, the new collection of Jimmy Choo, and for the occasion she told Vogue like this.
How would you describe your style?
What defines modernity this year?
Just one thing. Self-confidence.
And the glamor?
I think that glamor this year is a question of openness and, again, of self-confidence.

What’s your most important style tip?
I have no strict rules in terms of style. Let’s say I design myself. Depending on where I’m going and what I’m going to do, I imagine a character who would go there and imagine what he might wear.
In fashion as in life, what do you think makes the difference?
The originality. In my opinion it is the best way to stand out.
Who are your fashion icons?
I have so many…. But I’d say Anita Pallenberg and Susie Cave are the most inspiring and charming women I’ve ever met.
From your beginnings, what is the best advice anyone has ever given you?
More than advice, I would like to tell you something I have learned along the way in my career. And it is this: it is important to always collaborate with others.

Has the fashion industry changed since you first walked the runway? And how ?
Absolutely. And in my opinion, it’s social media that has changed everything in the fashion industry.
What is the thing you are most proud of?
My daughter Lila (they walked together for Kim Jones’ debut for Fendi Couture, ed), I love to see her grow into a lovely and inspiring young woman.

How do you manage doubts, uncertainties?
You have to believe in yourself, trust yourself. In my opinion there is nothing more reliable than your instinct.
The boldest thing you’ve done?
Open my agency, the KMA agency.

If you could become another person for just one day, who would you choose?
Ginger Rogers, I’d like to know what it feels like to dance like that.
The best advice you can give to a young model?
The advice I always give to my models is to be professional: work hard and never forget that you can always say no if something doesn’t fully convince you.

Your favorite pair of shoes?
Oh my God! I would say a pair of high sandals with straps, these are the shoes of my dreams. If I could wear them every day I would.
Three words to define Jimmy Choo?
Modern, sexy and elegant.
