The maison Valentino continues its initiatives in support of the arts and culture. Through the program #WritersRoadmapxValentino, launched in December 2020, the brand has started a collaboration with friend of the house and TIME 100 author Tomi Adeyemi, to support the work of 50 aspiring student authors.
#WritersRoadmapxValentino by Tomi Adeyemi accompanies students in a journey dedicated to helping, tracking and organizing their writing jobs, giving them encouragement, tips, tricks and a community of friends along the way. With Adeyemi’s authoritative voice at their side, students are able to refine their projects and bring new clarity to their passions.

50 selected students received a scholarship from Valentino to participate in the course. Participants are been chosen from all over the world, through an online open call, to foster a diverse community of growing creatives. At the start of the course, on 14 December 2020, the selected students received a welcome kit that includes the Strand Bookstore x Valentino bag and the new Valentino Voce Viva fragrance.

In addition to the lessons Tomi Adeyemi will hold a special seminar for #WritersRoadmapxValentino students.
The initiative expands Valentino’s path to interconnect with a wider and more diverse audience, to support the arts and education, as well as to cultivate a sense of belonging to the community.
In addition, the house is developing training programs designed to offer professional and learning experiences and is committed to establishing partnerships and collaborations dedicated to promoting projects and activations for spreading the values of inclusiveness and diversity.
