If there is one face that can best represent the new course of US politics, it is Amanda Gorman. The young poet who enchanted the States with hers The Hill We Climb recited during theInauguration Day it is the embodiment of the values to which the country had abdicated during the Trump administration, much more muscular, little interested in poetry and all devoted, above all, to a much rougher style in which poetry had no place. Least of all that of a young and talented African American who, at 16, had become the first Youth Poet Laureate in Los Angeles, the city where her mother was raised by her mother.

Her charisma, her presence, her expressive ability are undeniable and immediately projected her into the world of stars. Harris and tennis player Naomi Osaka. But today comes further confirmation of Amanda’s talent.

In fact, it seems that the poet will also be the protagonist of another huge event: the Super Bowl 2021. The pre-show of the 55th edition of the sporting event that every year glues millions of Americans to television will see Amanda protagonist in what could be her consecration definitive.
We await February to find out.
