It is general knowledge that great style lies in the details and last week, male celebrities across Africa reminded us that sometimes, all we need to vamp up an outfit could be just a tiny element standing out in the grand scheme of things. It was in this light that celebrities across the fashion and entertainment industry in Africa decided to step out last week looking their best–serving swag as occasion served.
A master of dark colors, Nigerian musician, Kizz Daniel embraced the color black last week. He looked suave in his detail-oriented all black outfit. The artiste wore a black blazer over a combination of black shirt and black pair of trousers. He complemented the all-black look with more black — a pair of black dress shoes and because good begets good, the result was nothing short of dapper. He accessorized with a pair of black sunglasses and some metallic-colored jewelry that served as a pop of color.
Over in the East, Diamond Platnumz, who isn’t afraid to try out a variety of colors, stepped out in lilac — a color many men shy away from. Diamond stands out for his detail oriented style sense which sets him in a class of his own, this coveted attribute has lots of individuals jotting things down and pinning his looks in anticipation for the next event. The Tanzanian singer stepped out in a casj designer outfit consisting of a pair of lilac wide-leg cotton pants and pastel sweatshirt. Still maintaining the casj look, he finished the look off with a pair of white dad sneakers, a matching face cap, a pair of white sunglasses, a beaded cross-body bag and some minimal jewelry. As always, the entire lewk is beyond basic.
Male celebrities across Africa were intentional with the details of their outfits last week and it’s with pleasure that we curated a list of our favorite looks.
