There is no release date yet, but Netflix confirms the autobiographical series dedicated to the great stylist Carolina Herrera
In September 2018 he left the position of creative director of his brand. Carolina Herrera after 37 years of career, which have transformed it into the ‘American fashion lady ‘, left the baton to Wes Gordon dedicating himself to the new role of global ambassador. And today, his life of success will become the subject for a new TV series arriving on Netflix. Although there is no launch date yet, according to rumors, 39-year-old Mexican actress Malillany Marín will play the famous designer. The choice of production seems to be due to the star’s great resemblance to the fashion designer, which, in fact, is truly remarkable.
The plot of the TV series will revolve around Carolina Herrera’s growth as an entrepreneur and stylist, and therefore it will be based on the path that led her to become the owner of her company, in 1981. She will then tell how the latter has become a colossus, also enjoying success in the field of perfumery. Over the years, her talent has also led her to dress Princess Elizabeth of Yugoslavia, Queen Elizabeth II, Nancy Reagan and, for twelve years, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.
