Since a new season of Sex and the City it seems that nothing else is being talked about among fashionistas who love TV series and, even if the true queen of history has been and remains Sarah Jessica Parker with her Carrie Bradshaw, it is important to remember that each of the four protagonists contributed to the huge success of the series, embodying the spirit of millions of women around the world. Many will have recognized themselves in sweet Charlotte or provocative Samantha (currently absent in the new season), or in Miranda Hobbes, the character from Sex and the City played by Cynthia Nixon, lawyer and feminist convinced that, with her fluctuating character and her concrete looks, she has conquered hordes of fans like the other protagonists.

But let’s get to the point and, before we find out how it will be the next series of Sex and the City, let’s review the previous seasons by analyzing Miranda’s most beautiful looks.

The little black dress

Miranda is the career woman of the group and one of our favorite looks worn in the series points is this black chemisier dress featuring a wide pointed collar, well-marked bustier-like waist and skirt with wrap closure. An outfit that could still be very current today and we hope to see again in the new season of Sex and the City.

The maxi python belt

An accessory worn by Miranda that is very trendy today is the maxi belt in python-effect leather, seen in one of the most famous scenes of the series. The combination with the crossover top might seem a bit dated; instead we promote the tie-dye effect silk skirt with flying colors.

The color block look

The color block is probably not one of the top trends of 2021, but we certainly cannot forget that in recent years the trend has been reshuffled several times on the catwalks of the big names in fashion. We love this look in shades of blue and purple and it is an outfit of sure effect even in photos.

The asymmetrical dress

The revival of the style of the late nineties, early 2000s is in the air. And this look worn by Miranda from Sex and the City could be the must-have dress for next season. Not only for the yellow color, which for Pantone is the color of 2021, but also for the asymmetrical and minimal design that recalls that taste of the beginning of the millennium that is very popular lately. We deliberately overlook accessories, too dated for contemporary taste.
